Double Roller and March Fluid Pulley.....
In case anyone is interested..... this weekend i got the SS back together. The heads stud kit from ARP was missing a nut. Luckily a friend is an drag racer and had a spare laying around. The AS 5.3 heads were very nice. I have the 977 springs and there are NO clearance issues with the new HS rockers. I also installed the Rollmaster dbl timing set, LS6 ported pump (w/spacers), and the new March Fluid dampner pulley. NO clearance issues with the pulley and oil pump/timing chain.
There have been alot of questions about this and no one seemed to have a straight answer. Were here it is, at least on my car....the install went by without a hitch. Hope this helps someone.

I too installed a Cloyes Double roller chain and March damper.
I used the ARP bolt and torqued it to 240ft/lbs and loctite.
We set the torque wrench to 200ft.lbs and it went and went and went. When it finally clicked, the pulley was just about aligned with the other pulleys. The 240ft/lbs was insurance, I guess as it was the recommended torque setting from ARP.
