Where are you going with your question?
I only put 3,000 miles a year on my Berger SS and I have BFG gForce KDW tires - why?, cause that's what came on my car . . . Would I buy BFG's again yes.
I only put 6,000 miles a year on my Convertible SS and I have Kuhmo Ecsta MX tires, why?, I have different width 18" wheels, and makers are limited . . . Would I buy Kuhmo's again, probably not.
I would never run a drag radial on my car since I do get caught in the rain everyonce and a while, and I don't feel the risk is worth it . . .
If and I say if I were to have to choose between Nittos and BFG, I'd buy BFG's in a heartbeat, Nitto's from all that I read run narrow, and what is the point of buying a supposedly wider tire, if they are making them small???

I have nittos on both of my daily driven high perf cars...275/50/15 on one and 315/35/17 on the other. They are fine in the rain until past 3/4 tread life. I have had many sets, and on average with track use they'll go 12-15K miles. FWIW I love em !!!
