If you are looking for a high performance, affordable tire- you really should check out the new Tech M500 from Avon. I've had 'em on for about 2000 miles now, and they continue to amaze me each time I drive on 'em. The traction in both dry and wet conditions is phenomenal, and are highly comparable to the Bridgestone Potenza SO2 Pole Positions I used to have. I HIGHLY recommend these, and for $136 for a 275/40/17- you can't really go wrong.
