New Best In 5000 DA!!
I had the converter and shift kit put in last week along with a ASP pulley.
Tonight was the first time for me to go to the track here in Lubbock.
The DA was about 5000.
my first run was
1.689(spinning)
5.338
8.236
85.68
10.730
12.856
105.96
The sixty foot's got worse as the night went on.
The best run for the night was
1.829
5.259
8.121
86.66
10.592
12.701
106.97
The first run was with the ET Drags at 16psi or so, the other runs I dropped the pressure to about 14 or so.
I've still got TM, which I need to get rid of, and a little LS1edit tuning to do. Using the NHRA correction table, I could've run a 11.9@113, but we'll never know till I can get to a better track in cool weather.

Re: New Best In 5000 DA!!
The suspension is all stock. I am looking into getting a pair of madman's LCA's and a PHB. I've already got a pair of relocating brackets.
I removed the passenger's seat, spare tire and jack, rear seat back and seatbelts. I am looking into getting some skinnies for the front also.
Any suggestions?
I've got a couple videos but no way to put them on the net. You can't really tell a whole lot other than that it is my car though.

Congrats on the new best! A 1.6 60' time at Idalou is doing really well. My best 60' ever there was on ET Streets, a 100 RWHP dry shot, and a 382 LS1. It got me a 1.70. LOL! People just don't understand how it is racing at an actual altitude of 3,200' and a track that isn't HRP-level. You're doing great with your setup! I agree that you need an FU-2 cam. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: New Best In 5000 DA!!
Good times! My best times in Idalou were 13.2s on motor and 12.4 on a 100 shot of nitrous (all on drag radials). My best 60ft was 1.88 or so! I didn't like the track since there were no scoreboards and traction didn't exist.

Re: New Best In 5000 DA!!
Tonight I deleted TM, added a little fuel, and took the line pressure back to stock.
Now the car does not drop below 4900rpm's or so on any of the shifts, and definitely pulls harder after the shifts. I am anxious to see what I can gain from tuning. I will test it out this Friday at the TNT at Idalou.
