Can My Tuner use His Edit If I have Edit?

Question Can My Tuner use His Edit If I have Edit?

I have decided to go with LS1 Edit,My car is Dyno tuned with Edit.Now my question is ,If I buy myself the single version of LS1 Edit ,and use it,Can my Tuner still use his Edit to tune my car if need be?He has all my files....

You have to have your cable. With LS1 edit, the cable is specific to your V.I.N. With HP Tuners, the cable is specific to your model year.

Make sure they don't just use theirs and lock the tune.

HPTuners can read the PCM even though it was flashed using edit

Because the support is really good, they update regularly (so far), it has a built in scan tool, and because they aren't trying to price-gouge us. Mostly the price-gouging part. Oh, and it is only year locked, not vin-locked, so you can share with your friends! Woohoo!

and if you fry your pcm by accident
1. edit doenst have a recovery feature
2. you will have to send the edit people 200 to add the new pcm
