Default Hardcore guys, I need some input on weight reduction

Okay guys, I'm getting low on ideas for free weight reduction. I need some input. I am up for absolutely anything that won't make the car badly unstreetable (door bars, airbags, A/C, radio, cruise, ABS). Ok, my list

front sway bar and brackets
all heat shielding excpet for fuel lines and gas tank
upper panhard brace
rear seats and seatbelts
spare and jack
AIR pump
removed wiper fluid
rear floormats

Thats all I can think of right now. I am planning on taking out the bumper supports and hacking them up a little, not sure if I'm gonna completely leave them out or not. I plan on removing the emergency brake system since I never use it. I'm also gonna take out the stock carpet and remove the stock padding and sound deadening. I hear about folks shaving bolts. Do you mean you just go under the car, and everywhere a bolt is sticking out past the nut, you cut it off? That doesn't seem that hard if that is all you do. I haven't removed near enough weight. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> I don't have the money to spend on weight removal things right now since I'm saving for a stall convertor. But, if the average person looks at the car, all I want them to see is the rear seats out and hatch panel gone. ANY feedback at all is appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Looks like you've pretty much covered all the bases as far as low-cost stuff goes. Once you start getting into tubular k-members, lightweight hoods, etc, you start to lay out some money.

If you haven't done so already, do a search for Colonel's weight removal thread. There are some good ideas in there. You may be able to find some things that wouldn't cause any/much loss in driveability.
