wanting in on converter game
I have 2.73's and I hope to either go with a TCI 3500/2.5 or 3000/2.2
I'd like to keep on street radials and I dont want alot of spin.
Would 3500 be too much? I dont wanna spin off the line with just easing into the throttle. Will a car with a converter flash to its stall speed when gently leaving a line then engage really hard as to spin the tires really fast once it engages? A car will be louder afterwards because it's gonna take more gas to get the car going. Does anyone have sam's in-car video with his converter? HIs original link of the video is down and I'd like to get that if someone has it. Thanks guys

hey hey. im not here to point fingers or call names. but since you felt to take matters into your own hands let me return the favor.
as stated b4 you called me a post *****. well if you were a member of LS1.com for 2 years and never felt to venture in the drivetrain section and look under "stalls and converters" then evidently U were being a post ***** in other sections then the one u should have been looking in. the first and foremost thing for an A4 is a stall! so by being a member for 2 years at ls1.com really means nothing bcuz you have to come to ls1tech to get answers. sooo from the looks of your sig i think you should stop being a post ***** in the "appearance section" and start reading up on Torque Converters.
btw i forgive you...ur from ls1.com
