Last night i went to the track for the first time on my 12 bolt and ET Streets. I did a very small burnout and tried to launch my car around 4500. let the clutch out and boom, driveshaft breaks. Well i get the car in the garage to try and take her apart and the my driveshaft wont come out of the tailshaft in my tranny. ive tried hammering, ive tried pulling, ive tried drilling a hole through it to fit a screw driver (to pull with) and it just wont budge. What should i do? its really starting to **** me off and any help you guys can give would be awesome. thanks.

did you try unbolting the trans brace to see if it slides out easier? is your tailshaft housing bent or cracked anywhere?

Did you get the correct u-joint?

Use a long flathead screwdriver and a BFH.

If push comes to shove and we gotta tear the tranny down just let me know and ill give you a hand. I still cant imagine what its caught up on.

pulled the tranny tonight, it took a nice big hammer and a pole to get the driveshaft out. sucks it took me taking the tranny out to pull the driveshaft
