i ran a 13.2 with a 2.1 60, at 108 mph in may and havn't been down to the track with my car. i think that i can squeeze a 12 out of my car after some recent street races and with learning how to drive my car better since i got it in march. do you guys have any tips to help make sure that i can get into the twelves?? take out air filter, ice down manifold, lower air pressue!!

any help would be great!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say drop some weight, and get some more traction. you can run 12.5's easily with a little weight removal and a 1.6 60 foot.

personally i wouldnt take out filter. If you suck something in your intake your screwed.. cough cough new motor. Guys have done this before and that happened. Plus some did a test and didnt see any gains from it.

headers, gears, tires, FTRA, cam, and of coarse tires

bascially you need tires first so you can get some of the power to stick

mustang hat'r, ill be at new york international speedway in liester. do you know where it is? you should come down, trying to get a buch of f bodies to go down!!

i know i need rubber, i got a set of OEM ZO6 wheels upstairs for the spring!
