New best but really sick of
Having an A4 trans. Ran 10.73@124 tonight on stock internals with the 150 tnt. Definately time for a t-400. I'm sick of nose diving tm and weak shifts.I'm still hoping for 10.50's but it looks like a t-braked 400 will be needed.

Thanks John! No, I haven't tried any tuning other than using my hpp3. I'm sure it would help but I will eventually need a t-400 so I'm looking into that option now.

Re: New best but really sick of
Congrats on the new best!
The 4L60E's have come a loooong way since I gace up on trying to make one live, but I'd still rather have a TH400 or glide for the long term reliability (even though I've been destroying everything lately). If you get a TH400 from a reputable builder, you shouldn't really ever have any issues.
I'll possibly put my 'glide back in (with some better internals) for NHRA S/ST racing next year, but I love the TH400 so far.

Re: New best but really sick of
George, thanks! I'm looking into 2 options. A buddy of mine has a $4800 Coan t-350 that has custom internal everything and is only like 5lbs more than a glide but I'm leaning toward a rossler 400 like he uses in his 7 second customer rides. The t-350 has 4 5.30 1/8 mile passes and he switched back to a glide because it was too violent on launch for his 10 inch tire setup. Either would be fine but a new rossler would be 2400 and the Coan would cost me 3k. Hmmmmmmm. Good luck with the S/S racing. Thats one tough class and my overall favorite
