converter questions if you please.
Hi I have a few questions with reguards to converters.
What does this quote mean or trying to say " becaue of the extra power you are loading the converter too much and its not able to lock up down track"?
Would they mean as for eg. its like going down track with a std. trans with the clutch slipping?
Is there in diff in quarter mile times with a lock up converter?
I see alot of people using yank4400 con, how does it work on the street?
If you purchase a converter for a t-brake will it stall at the rated speed without the t-brake activated?
thanks

stock pcms do not lock the converter at full throttle so I have no idea what your quote is getting at.
If you have never driven a high stall, the Yank 4400 is probably not for your daily driver.
A high stall converter generally can not be foot braked to its rated stall speed in first gear because your brakes will not hold the torque.
