Default Just got my HP Tuners... need some help

I've been playing with the "Power Enriched Fuel Multiplier vs RPM"

I've been lowering the AFR, then flashing, then driving around running a scann... Am I correct is assuming that if the Knock Retard is at 0.0 then I have no knock at all???

Any inputs as to what I should set this stuff to? What should I be looking for when I lower the AFR? What tells me that I have lowered it too much?

from what i understand, changing the AFR will make your O2's richer or leaner depend on which way you go. i think they are supposed to be between 8XX-900...check out this thread on ls1tuning.com might be helpfull

Ahh ok... so it's easy.... simply lower the PE value until you get a knock, then put it back to where it was before there was a knock. right?

more or less...worked for me a bit. if you are still getting traces of KR...then you might want to pull some timing from those areas as well.

Interesting. I have had some people mention MAF and MAP tables also. I'm kinda scared to mess with the timing though.

try reading over at ls1tuning.com...or hptuners.com and their forum. just takes a little research. more than anything what i found works is to start out small. 1-3% changes won't hurt anything if you do them incorrectly, well they shouldn't at least.
