Default steel vs. 3.5 aluminum driveshaft

broke my stock POS driveshaft. any guys running a steel driveshaft in their daily drivers? any problems?

anyone else running the Madman 3.5 alum. driveshaft? any problems with that? any help would be much appreciated! thanks!

you know my insight on it already.

I went with the aluminum shaft twice despite the minor money difference. The aluminum is gonna be alot smoother, especially at the high speeds we're known for hitting fairly often

I have been using a 3.5" alum. DS for awhile now. I have had very good luck with it and it weighs only 0.5 lbs heavier than the stock one.

The Firehawk has been running with a steel driveshaft since March. It was made by a local shop and there's been no notieable difference between it and the stock aluminum one.

Yup, if you're planning on higher speeds then Aluminum or CF are the only way to go.
