Any knock on the runs? Were you getting around 27-28 degrees timing from 5600 rpms on up? What was your a/f?

Post your graph...

Bet your over 385RW w/a locked verter..
Who's verter is it?

Plus your tq is excellent..
I'd say it'll be around 400 or alittle more locked.

What gear/rearend and a/f...

I don't know about the timing or knock, nothing was monitered. I will be doing that asap though. A/f after tuning was 13.0 across the board. I will scan at work and post it.

It's a vig. 3200 with a built tranny. I have the stock 10 bolt with stock 3.23 gears. 13.0 a/f.

Thanks,
Brett

13.0 is alittle lean imo..U might wanna get it around 12.6/12.7 A/F and see what happens. That verter will lose about 18 to 25RW locked vs unlocked.Open the borla and you'll pick up another 5 to 15 RW depending on the setup.

Redyno open Borla, locked and at 12.6 AF....

I thought you had a lock up switch. Mine only did 362 hp on that dyno, unlocked, through the muffler.

Default Really?

I thought you did 385 on that dyno? I just figured with the bigger cam and more compression, I would see about 15 more than you. I should just have you take it to 41 since you are the pro driver. I want to redyno with the ported tb and open exhaust. What was your tq?

446 ft/lbs tq That number seems a little high for you setup, while the hp seems way low. Somethin's amiss. How does it drive?

Well with a vig 3200, 3.73, Heads, and TSP 228R cam I made 408 hp 407 tq unlocked.. It made 425 hp and 385 tq locked. This was on a dyno that is known for low numbers..

Something seems up for sure. That Mac ORP and closed Borla are killing you. Who tuned your car? Might be some issue there too.

You should be able to go LOW 11's with that setup. Open the borla and a little more tuning will help.

I did 385unlocked when I had the A4 and went 122.6mph.

It pulls okay. Not low 11's for sure. Put it this way, it hooks from a 30 roll in first with 275/40 nittodr's. It tries to spin a little, then bites in second no problem. XFiveLiter said it feels like an 11.8. Car weighs 3650 or so with my 200lbs driving.

I need to get some long tubes for sure. I figured w/ those it would dyno over 400hp. Doesn't look like that would happen, huh.

Low 11's would be awesome, even 11.4 would make me real real happy. It does not pull near as hard as XFiveLiters car though. Although his car is a lot lighter. I have to get it to the track asap. I guess if it runs nice times, the dyno won't matter.

Open the borla, retune and dont buy lt's,macs are fine.
Use a FM Merge on the end of the Y pipe.

3650 is a tank, drop the weight with weld drag lites front and rear and good set of et streets and the car will fly.

Nope, only 362. Strange thing was it only did 385 tq. I think it had something to do w/the dyno operator. On Speed Inc. dyno I did 365 LOCKED, cam only.

You do not have more compression. Let me know when ya want to go to the track, that is the only dyno that counts.

What is a fm merge?

I think this Sunday is gonna be track day. I just need to get out of bed early enough to get there. Maybe even get the woman out there with the Mach1. My electric cutout should be here Friday, so that will be cool.

Flowmaster merge on the end of the mac Y.
Its 2.5 Y into 3in single which will promote better flow at the entrance of the iterm. pipe.U dont need headers,I went 118mph w/Macs and wouldve never sold them if I knew that now.

Open the Borla, thats killing u too.
Welds w/bigs and littles, take the fluid out of the washer bottle, pull the jack and spare and the car will lose an easy 125lbs.Then go to the track and run some 11.50's when it get cooler

I have a fat TA. It has no back seats, no spare/jack, and less than 1/4 tank at the track. I pull the sub box and any junk inside and still weigh about 3650. I guess the amps(small) are adding weight. I need to get the Weld's n skinnies, got the et streets. Thanks for all the encouragement guys. I hope this setup does well at the track this weekend.

Well, here's the update. Took it to the track and got some times. On the 275/4017 nittos it went 12.08/1.73 at only 111mph. It was full weight, 1/2 tank gas, subs in and misc. crap in back of car. Might of weighed in at about 3775 or so. That would put it at 11.78 if I got the 60ft down to 1.58 with the et streets. I hope it can 60ft that well. If I empty the car and get the weight down to 3650 or so there is another tenth. This might all add up to an 11.6-7 at 112-113 in the same weather/da=1600 or so. Does this all sound reasonable to you? I am happy with the times it ran for the way I ran it. I wasn't even driving for the 12.08, XFIVELITER was. He is a pro though, so I was glad to have his assistance. I had to leave before I could make any more runs, only made a couple passes myself. Well...what do ya think, the mph is the only thing that bothers me.

That seems alittle low for mph, I was running 112mph with stock heads and a small 216/220 cam and boltons with a 1700D/A full weight, There is something not right with your car, are you at high elevation, I would do a leak down test to see if anything is wrong.

I am racing at 660ft. My car also pours out white smoke when floored.
