Who's got good brakes? Strange? Wilwood?
I'm looking for info on aftermarket brakes.. I'm not too concerned with streetability, I just need to get some weight off this pig.. I saw the Strange brakes on Billingley's site, but I was thinking there was a more economical alternative <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Any ideas?
thanks

Aerospace brakes all the way around here. 4 piston fronts 4 piston rears. Manual brakes as well.

I personally like the lamb brakes but they are out imo.

Lightweight better brakes just aren't cheap no matter how you slice it. Make sure you shop around and compare the features. I liked the Mark Williams setup. Not only does it have tha *bling bling* factor they stop on a dime. Just make sure you get the big master cylinder.
Here's the link. My car with all the blower stuff and complete stock interior including the rear seat weighed in a 3180. The only two real lightening features at that time were the tubular k-member and the brakes.
