Default First time at track, any tips??

Well I had my first track experience today. I absolutly loved it. Here are my times. I had 5 runs so I'll post my first and last runs. I have an ASA cam, Grot headers, true dual and was running on ET Streets....

1st run 60' 2.65 14.0 @ 109mph
I had my tracton control on so it wasn't pretty at all.....

Last run... 60' 2.14 13.1 @ 111mph
I got a nice launch, at least relative to my first 4 runs. I figure I did pretty good improving by .9 sec in my first time at the track. My reaction times were all right around .600... So I think that part is pretty good. I think my launch is holding me back. It was my first time ever on an ET Street, and let me say it takes getting used to. I did burnouts in the box on the last 4 runs, went pretty well. I'm running the stock rear end with 3.42 gears and my stock clutch. The clutch held well, but I mainly feathered it through first in all my runs because I'm in fear of snapping the rear end. On the last run I got off of it prett quick but still defenitly slipping it. So any newbie suggestions??? Thanks guys...

I slip my clutch a little too, but right now am only on Nittos Great improvements from first to last run though. FWIW, there are guys cutting 1.7 60's on the stock rear. But be careful with the ET Streets. I launch at around 3000 rpm on a good track, and getting 1.9 60's. You will be in the mid 12's before you know it.

Well I went again today with the ET Streets and managed a 12.9 @ 112.5... Still with a 2.1 60 ft but my stock clutch is starting to give out, slipped quite a bit in first gear. Time for a new clutch, any reccomendations?? On that run I dropped at 4700rpm, well not quite dropped but pretty damn close...
