I am totally new to all of this, I currently have a 2001 TA, M6, heads, cam, headers, y-pipe, pulleys, double row timing gear. I am making 431 rwhp and 417 rw tourque.
I will be getting a mcloud clutch, pro 5.0 shifter next month.
My question is do I have enough power to justify the 4.56 rear end? I will be getting a moser in february and was thinking 4.10's. Just so you know , i do drive the car daily, weather permitting. (I do have a new truck as my other vehicle) Also my plan is to replace current engine in a year with a 422 stroker (hoping for 500rwhp) Raging Motorsports built my current engine and will build my new one. My goal is to have 500 rwhp NA that I can still use as a daily driver. so I dont want to get a rear end that i might have to upgrade in a year.
thanks for any input.

I donno how everyone else feels but, since you have an M6, those gears should actually be fine. The next question becomes, will the transmission survive 500 N/A rwhp? I think you'll need a replacement when that happens, making 4.56's too low for the application, unless you stop driving it regularly. I also think 4.10's would probably be gears you like, unless you're spinning 8,500rpm too! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
