keep stock lifters?

keep stock lifters? I have AS 5.3 heads with 978 springs coming and a 224 XER cam. If I recall, 978 springs can use stock lifters, is that correct? Also, do I reuse the current stock lifters from my car and swap them over, like the rockers? I have about 18K on the car.
