Cool Shorty Headers

How much HP will Shorty Headers give me?
I know Mid Lenths:and LT will give me more; but i what to get the car through
Inspection. My car has a 216 cam. So would the Shorty Headers give me a
significant deference? If anybody has Shorty Headers; and seen a deference
please let me know?

what year car do you have; 98-99 see the most "gains" but if you have a 00-02 dont bother, spend the money elsewhere.

WERD, if you've ever looked at the 00-02 manifolds they pretty much look like shorty headers themselves.

Being that his car is an 02 it would be a total waste of money to go with shorties.

M6DropTop: I believe that your friends car lost hp due to the Flowmaster exhaust, that is, if it was an 80 series type and not the shorties. If you do a quick search, you'll find that many people have reported such claims of hp loss due to FM cross-flow exhaust.

For real, 00-02 cars came from factory with shorties, basically. Buy something else if you want performance gains.
