!Front bumper and components Question
Can this thing be removed without removing the front facia?? I removed the washer fluid resevoir and wondered if the bumper and components would slide out the bottom also.
IF the facia does have to be removed; how many connectors hold it in?

We took mine off to remove my bump surports. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I can't remember how my bolts hold it on. Not to many I believe. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Re: !Front bumper and components Question
Thanx Coach. If I go ahead with this, I wonder how hard it would be to make a FTRA type intake mod that went to the license plate area?
Hhhmmmm. It would have to be all aluminum, since I have NO Fiberglass fab skills. Of course I don't have a welder either. Hhhhmmmm.

Re: !Front bumper and components Question
It is very easy to remove the fascia. Just get under there and start unbolting everything. I actually had fun doing it.
BTW, I know that on a Firebird/Formula/TransAm that you will almost certainly need to remove the hood latch assembly to run a ram-air setup like Reckless and Pain have.
Also, this is just a suggestion and probably won't make any noticeable difference, but aluminum will heat up a lot from the engine. Maybe look around in your area and see if there are other alternatives. Just a suggestion.

I took my front bumper support out and it took 2 folks who never did it before about 75-90 minutes... Lot's of little bolts. I have a 98 Formula.
