Short circuit in loom - traced to O2 sensors - help!!
Was just applying the finishing touches to my loom and happened to hook up a voltmeter between switched live and earth. Got a resistance of zero... not good.
Undid about 20 hours work and cut a few wires but eventually traced it to the O2 sensors.
There is a pink (switched live) wire and a black (earth) wire going to each one but the resistance between these is zero (or close - my meter isn't too accurate). It is a pain in the **** because it will just blow all the fuses when I plug it into a battery...
Any suggestions, or is this normal behaviour for an O2 sensor?
