Question Painting the pipes behind the CME tips..

I was thinking about painting those with a high temp flat black so that maybe they will be semi hidden.

Has anybody tried this?

Do you mean like this? I think I used Cast color.

Why don't you polish them instead? You're in Texas, so it's not like you have to worry about corrosion.

That looks good, but was thiking about painting them black (not the tips)so that they would have the illusion of not being there at all.

Get some high temp exhaust paint, and go for it. You can always get it off with some steel wool! Just do it.

Or repaint it with a cast color like Poltergeist did. I just don't want to look cheap looking.
