Default PCM Gurus Need Help fast: Overheating, Car Dying

I got a 2000 Trans am with Bolt-Ons. Previous Owner had a FMS Cam 599 lift 112 I think. He had the PCM tuned with LS1 Edit. Now My car has stock cam with the FMS tuning. My problems are Fans dont come on from time to time. Today the fans acted up and I disconnected the ground on Batt. When I resetted the PCM, I turn on the car and they worked normal. Other issue is Idle. The car idles fine for about three minutes then it takes a dive almost dying for about 5 seconds and back up to normal. It does this over and over. Other issue is when I have the AC on and I come to complete stop car will not stay on. Thanks in advance.

Default

best bet.. restore the tune to stock (either yourself if you have an HPT or edit.. or have a dealer reflash)

as far as the fans not coming on sometimes... sounds like something electrical and not PCM related ...

but your idle and surging issues are because the tune you're running now is for a much bigger cam... get the PCM restored and should fix it
