Default should i change my i pipe

i guess thats what u call it going from my mac headers orp into the stock muffler. i think its 2 3/4 would it help any going to a 3inch from the orp to the stock muffler i have a cutout before the axle.

I'm not familiar with Mc's is the y-pipe 3"? Of ourse anything will help. Thats why people make a big deal about mandrel bends. Is it really going to be that noticeable, I don't know. I recently had my y-pipe remade because the one I had made was junk and was really a pipe spliced into another without a collector. I will find out if it makes a difference in a week or so.

i kinda meant the pipe after the y pipe that goes back to the muffler
