First Female Member in the 11's with an M6 car? Not sure if she is, but here are the details:
At 9:52AM, Kathy (12 Second Momma) ran a bolt-on 2002 Z06 Corvette (Tires, Tuning, Muffler, delete airbox cover) to:
60' - 1.727
330' - 4.967
1/8 - 7.676
MPH - 91.68
1/4 - 11.953
MPH 113.99
at California Speedway in Fontana CA. Track elevation 1100', DA 1600'. 10mph headwind.

I'm very proud of her. She's a 38 yr old mother of 3, who took up Drag Racing just to spend more time together, and has been running faster, and faster, and faster.
At first she was more than a second slower than me in the same car. Then .5, .4, .3, .2, .1, .05, .02, and today she beat my best ET by .03.
Congrats Kathy!!! I knew you could do it!!

Re: First Female Member in the 11's with an M6 car? na, there have been a few. i know of a woman to drove raging motorsports car (M6 all motor H&C) to atleast some 11.4s. i have seen it personally. maybe Lacy or Raging motorsports can chime in. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: First Female Member in the 11's with an M6 car? Congrats!!!! That's awesome. Running 11s is an accomplishment, but DRIVING a car into the 11s is great! I love to see the ladies kicking butt on the track. My little lady bumped our car into the 10s early this year in her SS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> on the same night that I got my first 10 second pass. Coach made a comment that stuck in my head last year in Houston...."A family that races together stays together". I couldn't have said it better myself. She is currently suffering from a mild neck injury and she refuses to credit YANK or MTI for it.LOL. She'll be ready for the SBSO in Seguin. I'd love to put her behind an M6 , but women are too tough on the 6 speeds <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> . Congrats again!!!
