Intake manifold gaskets.....
I had to remove my driver's side cylinder head because one of my spark plug holes was stripped. Now, when I picked up my cylinder heads from the machine shop today, they told me I needed to buy new intake manifold gaskets because you couldn't reuse the old ones. Is this true? Because these little rubber gaskets for the intake manifold cost $70. If I don't need them, please let me know so I can return them.

Double check them to make sure they have not shrunk or become deformed anywhere. They should be good to go.

Well, as said above, but word of caution!! Don't take it for granted that they are reusable. Inspect them very carefully because they are the major cause of vacuum leaks, besides broken nipple in the back of intake.
