Default Cowl hood/paint questions

Hello everyone. After FINALLY getting my car rolling after my accident (doing things without telling the insurance company and working on a limited budget sucks), I need to get the body work done/straightened out. Originally, I had just needed to get my fender and hood repainted to match the car, but now my mother graciously left a 5-6" scratch on the nose of my car....down to the primer. She said she'd pay for that part, as it was her fault but the rest is mine. I was thinking that since the new hood I bought got bent at the corner (careless/brainless friend helping me temporarily put it back on), I might just get the cowl hood I wanted. Is it possible to re-bend the stock steel hoods and have it look alright? How much do you think it would be to paint a driver's side fender, hood, and touch up the nose of the car (if possible)? Also, if it helps, my car is Black. Thank you. Any help would be appreciated.
