Default Corvette to Camaro Gauges

I have not had the pleasure of riding in a vette yet so im not 100% sure about this but i was told that in the vettes when you crank them up the needle on the tach and speedo goes all the way up then comes back down if this is true has anyone modified their f-body to do this and if so how?

It gives it that "sports car" feeling. When you start up and VAROOM! the gauges go off the charts! Thats whats cool about it. I want to do it!

The only ones, that I know of are the "Granatelli" 200 mph speedo for the f-bod.
Someone here on the board talked about it.

Why would you want it to do it? It's not a sports car thing because my friend's 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT does it...lol

I think it would be really sweet if someone custom made the F-bod to show the speed on the windshield like the corvettes..anyone here done that

if you do that then you can't tell the officer you weren't paying attention to the speedo
