Default Where to start to tune new 408 with ls1edit?

I just installed a 408 in my car and it runs fine but is quite a bit rich and doesnt want to run well under 1500 rpm....98 pcm.

Does anyone have a well tuned file 408" or 427" that i can look at.

Or can i send someone my file and if it works well to get me started till i get it on my dyno for tuning, id gladly send over some money on it

Have you tried any of the various tuning spreadsheets floating around here? Do some logging, plug in your averages, then make changes. For idle quality tuning, there are a few things you can try. Read thru this thread and try some of the things it suggests. (I couldn't find the thread on LS1Tech, so I linked to LS1Tuning.
