Another New Best! Come on 11's... Last week I went 12.6 @ 114 on a 2.1x 60'. I am running street tires (Kumho Ecsta 712's). Only real mods are a lid, catback and a 100 shot. Last week I ran on a half full and ice cold bottle.I just installed a bottle heater and I ran the following:

Milan Dragway has been getting a bad rap lately because track prep has been non-existent. This week the track was awesome! There were some rail cars running 170's and one had the capability to run mid 5's at 260. He had some mechanical issues though. The big boys laid down some nice rubber for us.
Anyway, for a completely stock motor, drivetrain, and rearend I think that time is pretty respectable. I think I am a set of ET Streets away from high 11's.

Re: Another New Best! Come on 11's... Nice times, especially for Milan. When did you go? As you saw and responded in my post about 60' times, Friday night Milan had TERRIBLE track prep and the best 60' I could get was 2.32.

Re: Another New Best! Come on 11's... Hey Buckeye- I went Sunday. Track prep was good because of all the big dogs there. It's not safe for 170+mph cars to run on a track that's not prepped. Guys were cutting 1.7-1.8 60's on DR's. Some old school muscle cars were cutting 1.3's. I don't think I can cut a sub 2.0 60' on Kumho's anywhere. I believe I got the best launch those tires can provide. Too bad I only got in two runs in 4 hours though. Some jackass oiled down the entire left lane. It took them 2 hours to clean it up.

Re: Another New Best! Come on 11's... Nice times! 11's are yours with any kind of sticky tire im my opinion. I ran 11.85 @ 115 with free mods,nittos and nitrous,cut a 1.78 60ft. Again nice times,good luck. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
