Default No Cats

Got a guestion guys..i wanna take my cats off, i have stock manifolds and everything the only thing i have is a borla exhaust, now can i just take the cats off and have like a muffler shop weld in some tubing, or what? how do i go about doin that?

You will need O2 sims or new tuning to make your SES light go out. (to pass emissions, if you need to)

i just put on a ory with o2 sims ......pretty sure i gained some hp ... tiem to go to the dyno

Why do you want to do that? Your LS1 is going to sound like complete A$$ through that Borla if you do remove them. Talk about nasty rasp...

Unless you strictly want to do this for a little extra horsepower at the track or don't actually mind driving around a sweet ride that will sound like that, I'd strongly recommend you just keep them on there and do something else...
