Default Dyno Tune AFTER Predator Custom Tune?

Taking my car to the dyno finally this week - curious to see what I'm putting down and also curious to see how good/bad the Predator custom tune I have installed really did. Has anyone had a real shop dyno tune after their Predator tune, and if so, what kind of gains did you see over and above the Predator tune???

I'm thinking I should see another 5-10 RWHP - I can't imagine the Predator maximized all the potential.....

I would like to know also. Put down 415/403 with pradator wondering if I can pick up some more with a full part throttle WOT dyno tune with edit or the equivalvent?

First dyno the car with the predator tune then restore the factory tune. After the car has been dyno tuned you can then store that tune in the predator as the base tune. Unless you had a custom tune done you will definitely pick up some power.

I hope I can crack 420 rwhp with a full ls1 edit tune its only 5 hp away. Sounds like a good idea what you said above. I will post results I plan on a full dyno tune in the next month or so. I did have a custom tune done, but still hoping to get a few more ponies out of her.

You will pick up more than that I bet. Just store the new tune in the predator as the base. You can tweak for seasonal changes then.

I'd think twice before setting the base tune as something other than a stock tune. I was under the impression that the performance tune works off of the base tune. So, if you get a dyno tune and the guy sets your WOT spark at 28* w/ LS1Edit, you may end up with 30* WOT spark from the Predator. You should check with James or one of the tuners at RWTD (John02SS I think) before doing something that could potentially be trouble for you car. After all, they work with these hand-helds every day.
