Turbo heads without the turbo

I'm looking to start putting together a turbo freindly combination. I was wondering where I would be if I bolted on a set of LQ9 heads for the time being until I purchased the turbo kit. The Cam I'll be using is HPE's new "S" grind. Great number from stock heads on a stock block with bolt-ons. The overlap and LSA are good for Forced induction. Just curious.
