will i lose any hp or hurt performance if i make a.i.r. restrictor plate?

Default will i lose any hp or hurt performance if i make a.i.r. restrictor plate?

i dont want to burn up my check valves so i will follow the instructions i read about making the 2 a.i.r plates, but since it will slow air flow a little will this hurt performance at all?

the air system only works on start up to heat the cats up quicker to aid in emissions.

it has no bearing on hp or performance

What he said. I did those plates on my car, thinking it would solve a noise my car was making but that didnt happen. Oh well. Easy pieces to fab up.
