Default have a vibration in my drivetrain

i dont know what it is. it will vibrate at high speeds 70-80 or so and most of the time if i push in the clutch a time or 2 it will smooth out. but no mater what if i push in the clutch at those speeds it will vibrate till i get under 70 or so. and i have had the tires balenced

just seeing if any one has an idea about what it is.

it is my '79 Z28 with the the M21 borg warner 4 speed, 3.73 gears(stock) i have changed the clutch recently but it did it before that.

oh and im posting this in the tranny forum as well

TIA

I'll take a stab. Maybe change u joints and see if that helps. Did you have the pressure plate and flywheel balanced as a unit? I didn't balance my old clutch setup and had a bad vibration that I could never figure out. When I got my new setup I had it balanced and now the vibration is gone. Hope this helps.

yeah the people that resurface or Turn a fly wheel can usually do it, that is why it is expensive. but i still think it is the drive shaft. cause when i push the clutch in at speeds above 75 and the engine idel goes to 650 it shakes still.
