another forum i belong to has a "chat" section. i think that it only helps get an answer quikr, or to talk about anything. it also helps to give it a sense of community.

just a thought

Hi J,

Yah I have had chats before on a regional board and they are fun and useful. I'll bring it up with Tony and discuss.

definately fun, and for members that are on alot it forms more of a family/friendly/entertaining enviroment then just posting and waiting....you get the idea. of course the knife cuts both ways but i for someone who isnt an a$$hole and loves cars etc its a great idea. PM'ing lets you get more "personal" for lack of a better word but a chat lets you openly discuss without having to post 6 different ?'s. another part that could be added if the chatting thing goes through is a "whos chatting part" to see whos chatting and so on. it can also eliminate wait time for for responses from pm's and etc.

hope you guys can maybe fig something out.
