Firebird/vette seat swap possible? Howdy!
Im looking for a replacement for my stock seats in my 2000 trans am . I have the usual leather 6 way power drivers/2way(?) power passenger seat.
Id love to get a set of Recaros but they are both difficult to find and tuff to justify with a wedding coming up shortly.
So what about a swap with vetter leather power seats into my f body?
1) has anyone done this successfully?
2) if so what mods /parts ahd to be obtained?
3) Was it worth it?

Ive heard they'll go in with some modification. You'll need the seat rails and the connections for the power. You'd probably have to drill some new holes for the rails, but outside of that I dont think the connections are any different, but "could" be.
I know for a fact it is possible, ive seen pics of someone who swapped 4 into his Fbody. It is a cool mod, but is probably a lil too much for some people to handle.
