Default First kill. . . well, not too impressive, but hey it's #1

98-99 dakota r/t 5.9, cruising to school this morning, get passed by a 94-03 body style style dakota r/t kinda gas it a little to catch up and he keeps giving more gas. get to the next light we're both about 5-6 cars back, but even. i motion to him to see if he wants to play a little, he shook his head no and smiled, so we both hung back a little anyway and it was one of those those thing where neither person wants to let the other lead so we keep giving more and more throttle, (by now at about 20mph) until i see him stomp it, looking frustrated, pulls a car or two, then i kick it, carb coughs when secondaries open and it's all over, i pass him at about 50mph and as the tranny shifts to second my pull stops at about 3 cars then second finds itself and i just kept pulling to about 85, had him by about 7 truck lengths, maybe 7 longbeds, then i let off because i was still in 2nd and motor was really winding up, because i only have 1st and second. thought i'd tell ya'll.

anyway, how many rpm is that? 700r4 in 2nd gear at 85mph or so with 33" tires and 2.73? i need a tach.

did mention don't have my inner fender in so he probably caught a night glimpse of my headers and pretty plug wires.

speaking of coffee can exhaust, i LITERALLY have a coffee can intake, sort of, i made a VERY temporary air cleaner riser out of the top of a coffee can, thought i'd share, lol

i hope ya'll aren't thinkin this was in an LS1 powered car (which would explain the lack of ya'll being impressed, not that you should be anyway). . . just a 350 built by a 17 year old kid (me). . .wearin carhartt overalls and a camo "chevy trucks" hat from wal-mart during this race, so he had to feel bad.
