Have a couple motor ?s My motor started knocking so im taking it out and either going to buy a ls6 motor or go with a 408 but i dont know what i want to do cause im straped for cash but dont want a ls1. Can anyone get me some prices on some motors for me cause i can get a brand new ls6 without the intake for $5500 and a 408 for $6500. Any one have any ideas or any motors for sell let me know. Any advise will help.

look at some sponsors. you can get alot more motor for $5000. custom forged motor, heads and cam, whatever you want... You can get a LS2 now for something like $5900. LS6 is old bin'ness!
