Default TB question

Will a Shaner S3 from a 98-99 hook right up to my 2000? I know it'll fit, it's the lines and hoses I'm wondering about.

from my understanding, the throttle cams are different, so it wouldn't work.

edit: cams instead of shafts... that's right.

The throttle cams where the cable connects are different. On the 98s they are smaller and open the throttle faster. You will need to pull the shaft and cam out of your 2000 throttle body and put it in your new throttle body.
