What Drag Radial Should I Go With?
What do you guys think is the best Drag Radial out there???? I have a set of Nittos that have no tread left.......... And I am thinking of what I should get next Nittos, Mickey Thompson's,BF Goodrich Comp T/A's. Remember I am talking about a Drag Radial here.......... oh by the way this is going to be on a 16" rim if that matters, Auto and a Vig 3,200 Stall

I just got my nitto's 315 35 16's and they seem to hook pretty good with a factory stall 2:73 gear.
BTW, I had to drive home from the track friday night in a pouring rain storm...they still hooked great in deep water with lots o gas pedal applied
I think their might still be a better DR out there though
I've noticed on a 17x11 rim the whole tread is still not being laid down though with the nittos's @ 37 pounds lol
I just got them so i haven't had a chance to check out the wear yet

I've had the Nittos and I think they suck, I just got the BFG's and so far love them. I don't know about the new MT's but they look good. If it matters the best 60ft I could pull with Nittos was a 2.4

Depends on what you want to do with them. If this will be on a daily driver that sees rain then definitely Nittos, as they are the only ones, IMHO that have any rain traction. Of course the more worn they get they start to get worse in the rain. Mine have almost 10k on them and barely any probs in the rain. Only once in a downpour doing over 45 on the highway did I have a problem. Another plus about Nittos is they last a lot longer than the others.
However, if you only race with the car and or only drive in the dry then the others are great. As they are stickier, hence they don't last as long.

Thanks for all the help but I think I am going to go with the new Micky Tompson's. I have heard nothing but good things about this tires. I think this is going to be a nice setup with my Vig 3200 and some Nitrous Plus I did had the nittos before and I am really wanting to try them out
Thanks Dan
