Vig. 3600 or Similar Yank?
Needing a stall to go with my cam. I'm really thinking about getting one of the kits sold at TBryne that come with a Vig. 3600, Tranny cooler, and shift kit for $799. Or should i look into a similar sized Yank? I don't want to spend more than $850 and that's including the tranny cooler. What's everyones experiences with the Vig. 3600, and what's the difference in the 1,3, and 5 blade setups? I'll also probably be spraying a 100hp wet shot somewhere down the line, will the Vig. 3600 cut it? By the way i'll be running the TSP228R stall, .588intake/exhaust lift at a 112lsa.

Why would you avoid the best of the three?
I noticed you choose a 4000 stall for your cam, why such a high stall?

I have had all three manufactures converters and from my experiences Yank would be my last choice.
I run a 4000 stall to keep my engine in its power band (5400-6500) thought the ¼ mile. The TCI 4000 does this quite well AND is very efficient in that RPM range. My Yank was not.

IMO, the Yank converters are well worth the extra $$$.

But would a Yank TT or SS 4000-4400 be better in my application than the Vig. 3600? I've heard so many good things about both i don't really know which one to go with. I know the Vig. is gonna cost a little less which is always important, but so is drivability. Also which of them are gonna drop more time off of my et? It's like trying to pick between a Ferarri and a Lamborgini
