Another G5X3 Track Results Thread!
Well, my buddy (flexybronc on here) took his car to the track. Here's the specs...
99 Formula WS6
Free Mods
LS1 Motorsports Lid
K&N Filter (removed at the track)
MTI Race Port TB
Patriot Spring/Retainer Kit
TR Hardened Rods
G5X3 Cam on 114
Rollmaster Chain
Ported LS6 pump
Hooker Long Tubes
True Duals with Edelbrock Mufflers
Richmond 4.10s
LS6 Clutch Kit (STILL holding up!)
Nitto Drag Radials
UMI Peformance LCA Brackets
BMR Control Arms
UMI Subframe Connectors
Tuned by Mikey @ Rapid Motorsports
His best were two back to back 12.3 @ 115 off 1.9 60's. I ran it and got it to go 12.2 @ 117 on a 2.0 60'. I spun 1st bad and even let out and I still got that time. I also had a 12.4 (I think) @ 117 and then I messed up the launch bad with a 12.6 @ 116 as well.
He's still running through the factory LS1 intake and stock crank pulley. The tune is very conservitive according to Mikey and it runs a bit rich. He put down 370hp and 350tq - which I think are low numbers, but the track made up for that. Once he gets the intake and pulley, he's taking it back to Mikey to get retuned. We're hoping to see 20-30rwhp afterwards. We'd really like to see the magic 400rwhp mark actually
