Default Transmission Fluid Dipstick won't come out

This sounds really stupid but my Transmission Fluid Dipstick under the hood has a red handle on it it says Trans Fluid Lock....then i flip it up so its pointing vertical towards me wher ei can't read the writing and pull like **** on it and it won't come out...

LOL...don't laugh at me eather.....i don't get it..

It should come out with it in that position. That is how mine comes out.

Mine likes to give me a hard time...sometimes I think somebody welds it in when I'm not looking!
Just give it a good yank...

thanks...but last time i yanked i about hanked the whole plastic funnel out and all with the dipstick ...

My truck did the same thing and it was a pain to get out. I think I tried turning it while I was pulling on it and the dipstick finally came out. When you do get it out rub some tranny fluid on the rubber by the handle of the stick. That helped me keep it from sticking after that.
