Default tach signal

does anyone know what the signal that comes off the PCM to the tach is?

if your car's an 00 as your name would imply... white wire, #10 pin

I forget which connector it's on... but only 1 of them has pin 10 used ...

ohh i guess i asked wrong what type of signal? is it like a 1 pulse per second does the frequency change the higher the rpms go up or does the voltage change. i had a great idea pop through my head so i need to build a circut too see if my idea actually works or if it was fart that just leaked up in the void i call a head
