Website to learn about exhausts?
I read the words chambered, stepped and all this stuff when it comes to headers and exhaust. I bought kooks stainless steel lt's and currently have a borla tuneable catback exhaust. And I am trying to make an educated decision on whether to go with true dual with an x pipe or just get an off road y pipe. (Just in case: Florida removed its whole emissions thing.)
I want my car to be enjoyably loud. if i get the off road y pipe which
peice(s) exactly would i be removing? The only thing that dissuades me from the true duals is that i know what i have sitting in my living room in my collection of parts and a torque arm may be necessary in my future, and I know that the true duals impede upon it.
So, if any one knows where on the web i can read till my little heart is contect i would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Crystal

Well I'm going with an X-pipe once I put in my LT's, I doubt emissions are going to be back. To answer your other questions an off road y-pipe is when the cats are removed. You might want to read this thread it covers the exhausts systems...https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139142.
P.S....Nice choice in color!!!

If you can make it happen go with true duals, no question.
I agree!
P.S. My car told me he wants to hook up with your car.
