Default First time out at the track

Hey guys, just got back from the track. This was my first time out with my 04 Cobra. It was a pretty good night. Had a couple of Cobra's and LS1's out there, and it was hooking pretty good.

My mods are: 2.80 pulley, Kook's LTs, catted H, Bassani catback, K&N FIPK and Revolution tuned by Strictly Performance.

Ran a total of 3 passes. Car weighed in at 3974lbs with me in it. Man that's a fat bastard.

Best pass of the night:

60' - 1.701
1/8 - 7.563 @ 93.97mph
1/4 - 11.739 @ 118.52mph

These were done on Nitto 315 DRs. The other two passes were 12.1 @ 118mph.. 2.0 sixty footers. I bogged one and spun hard on the other.

Does my MPH seem a little low? I was seeing other people's times and they are hitting in the 120+ range with the same mods.

Cool down time between runs wasn't all that long.. at most it was 20 minutes. The eaton was warm to touch but nowhere near cool. My shifting response was nice and intact and I was speedshifting through the gears.

Any feedback? Thanks!

Thanks with your compliments. Yeah the car left hard on the launch. I was asking around and alot of guys were telling me I was bogging off in the top end due to my 104oct. mix. I only have 18deg. of timing in the tune and that really isn't enough to burn the extra octane. I also didn't let it cool down enough and of course.. I didn't powershift that ****.

I was going to purchase a new 04 Z06 but decided to get the Cobra instead. I'm not really all that into Mustang's either.. but there's just the power potential of the Cobra that just sucked me in.

Shift it like you stole it and youll get your #s. Most Cobras around here are 10sec capable but no one can or will drive them. I guess when you spend all that money you just cant do it. Just once I would love to drive one of those cars. I imagine the owner would be pissed when I got back though.
