Good LS1 Magazines?
I was just wondering which magazines actually have worthwhile articles about ls1 cars. Which ones do you guys subscribe to? Or is it better to just check the news stands once or twice a month to see if there is an article that interests you? Just wondering, because people are wanting a fairly cheap Christmas present and this is just something that came to my head.

No magazines have good articles IMO. GMHTP is about the best it gets. They just can't keep up with the real time info we have here. The whole publication process takes too long. For Gods sake, they just did a lid comparison not too long ago!

Yeah I realize that there isn't anything better than this forum, I just wanted to know if it was worth buying a subscription to any of the magazines. I guess I'll just pass and if there are any interesting articles, I'll just buy it off the shelf. Thanks guys.

You can check out GMHTP for ***** and giggles, but the heart of the platform is here on LS1tech. There is, by far, more information and more expertise available at no charge on this site than the editors and contributors of GMHTP have combined. There is also the real time posting effect here, as opposed to 3 month old information in the mags. Yu also don't have to put up with crappy TPI articles about cars trying to break mid thirteens.

One thing about the magazines, I find their article are not as detailed, even when they spot light a car it's only 2 paragrahys and that's it, I need more info that's why ls1tech.com is 2nd-to-none.

i think there shoudl be a magazine called
LS1Tech.com....and they shoudl do articles on readers rides..and have a basics magazines...magazines that focus on certain installs..each month..etc etc...damn that would be awesome..and just think how much more money LS1Tech would bring in.

"LS1TECH Mag"
That would be sweet. Spotlight a diff member every month. How sick would that be? But then we'd have all kinds of idiots just wanting to register to be apart of the mag.

Car Craft and Chevy High Performance both had two issues a couple of months ago that had good write ups on Gen III and some LS2 info. These two seem to be pretty good for Gen III info.

The good thing about GMHTP is that you don't have the random douche bag that posts, "yeah my engine fell out after that part.. don't get it". There are a lot of knowledgable people on this board no doubt, but if you are ignorant to the question asked, someone with no knowledge can sound like they know wtf they are talking about. JMO

I like GMHTP pretty well. LS1TECH.com is great, but you do have a bunch of posts that don't show dyno sheets or time slips or really back the claims with real data. Really the best magazine out there is Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, don't belive me, pick up a copy a good deal of it will pertain to you. The mustang guys have it pretty pretty good. I wish they had one that good for the LS1 or Modern GM cars. GMHTP has some good articles though, just not as much as MMFF. Check out their website and you can read on some of their articles.
