my modded LS1 vs 97 SVT modded Cobra? Theres a guy in town wanting to race me, ive seen his car around, hes a 97 SVT cobra with exhaust, and intake. How would my somewhat modded (mid,exhaust,hood,performance tires) T/A do against his Cobra???

No offense or anything, but these threads get so old. This is a place to post what happens once you race not ask questions about it.
I will tell you, I raced my friend with a Cobra same year, a convertible with all of that and gears. I beat him, but not by much. His best time is a 14.6 with a good reaction time. Mine was a 14.3. I am running a stock 99 SS, which got hit by a girl now! I have to repair the door, not much though but still thats part of my money gone, sorry to go off.
So overall, you should win but its a drivers kind of race, but close this thread, post when you win!
