Default First drive: 383 Stroker - I LIKE IT!

All I can say is WOW! Maybe when the taste of adrinalin (sp) leaves my mouth I'll have some more words.

Props to HPE. They machined and assembled the motor. Me, a couple of buddies, and this site, did all the grunt work. All I need now is a tune and a beefer rear end. Oh yeah, and some grin remover.

I'll try to post a vid later tonight.

Awesome. How much did the machine work and assembly run you? Have considered a 383 many a times.

arm leg and first born... j/k machine work alone was ~500 assembly was ~500. The motor ran me about 6K for the fully assembled long block. The only parts I reused from the original motor was the block and lifters.
